For Memorial Day weekend, we went to "The River". This is a very popular place for those who live in Southern CA. It is the Colorado River. We camped, swam, and had a wonderful time. We went into Arizona, the London Bridge, and Lake Havasu. The London Bridge was the original bridge that was taken apart one brick at a time and then reassembled in AZ.
The highlight of the weekend was when we went to Oatman, AZ. Oatman is an old mining town. As you can see, the mules were let loose by the miners long ago, and they still roam free. They walk right up to the window for food. We didn't have any carrots or stuff, so we gave them cookies...they loved them..even gave Brent a kiss!!! LOL
