Joshua's pack had their annual Pinewood Derby. Although he did not win, he learned how to make his car and do it by himself (unlike many of the other young boys - watch the movie Down and Derby, and that will give you an idea of how the other boys cars were!)
Also at the derby, Joshua received a number of patches and awards: five belt loops, Uniform Inspection patch, National Historic Landmark patch, and the Fire Department Patch. He also earned three additional pins to wear on his uniform in computers, baseball, and basketball. He loves scouts and will be getting his wolf by the end of July.
